The National Staff Development Council’s purpose is every educator engages in effective professional learning every day so every student achieves. The Council views high quality staff development programs as essential to creating schools in which all students and staff members are learners who continually improve their performance. NSDC is hosting its 40th Annual Conference at the brand new Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center December 6-10, 2008. The conference offers more than 35 pre-conference workshops, five keynote addresses by nationally-acclaimed speakers, and 250 concurrent session.

Hear how New Leaders for New Schools, an organization focused on the selection, development, and support of principals, addresses the planning, implementation, and evaluation of professional learning.
